The shell of this large sea snail features a lustrous white pearly nacre with hints of green and pink.
Also called green snail shells, these shells are often polished in their whole form as ornaments or used as inlay in furniture, complementing dark natural woods.

Finish
Polished
The exterior is polished, removing the protective outer layer of the Luméa Green Snail Whole Shell, revealing the pale luminescent nacre and retaining it’s unique spiralling shape.
Natural
Unpolished exterior and minimally-cleaned interior. The Natural finish for Luméa Green Snail Whole Shells preserves the natural protective layer on the outside to protect the precious nacre lying underneath, on its journey around the world.
Uses
For customers who value the significant size and natural shape of this shell, this minimally processed option can be left as it is, added to unique design creations or alternatively, processed further into pieces. When polished, the colours glisten and change in shifting light. Variations of polishing are available.
Most commonly further processed into smaller pieces for inlay or polished whole as a natural ornament. The natural layer on the back shows the shell in its harvested state, and keeps the shell protected on its journey around the world. This can be easily removed to reveal the lustrous nacre underneath.
