1.1. Ocean Shell Studios ships domestically within New Zealand generally using Post Haste, NZ Couriers and NZ Post.
1.2. For international shipments, we primarily use DHL and FedEx, depending on destination and service availability.
1.3. Shipping method and carrier may be selected at our discretion based on delivery location, parcel size, and urgency.
2. Freight Charges
2.1. Freight charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of the order.
2.2. If there are discrepancies in size, weight, or destination that affect the calculated freight, we reserve the right to adjust charges.
2.3. Retail Customers: You will be contacted before dispatch if additional charges apply. Your order will not be shipped until the revised freight amount is approved and paid.
2.4. Wholesale Customers: We may proceed with dispatch and include any freight adjustments on your final invoice.
3. Dispatch and Tracking

These natural White Mother of Pearl (MOP) shells are sustainably sourced and selected for their exceptional thickness and predominantly white pearlescent colouring. Available in their raw condition, ideal for artisans who prefer to carve, shape and finish their materials by hand. Each shell reveals the soft iridescence and pearly shimmer that mother of pearl is known for, adding a elegant, ocean-inspired touch to any project.

- A Grade: Exceptional quality with vibrant colour, consistent thickness, and little to no visible flaws. Ideal for high-end jewellery, inlay, or display work where surface quality is paramount.
- B Grade: More natural imperfections such as worm hole damage or inclusions are present. Best suited for artisans cutting into smaller pieces or those able to work around flaws through carving or shaping.
