1.1. Ocean Shell Studios ships domestically within New Zealand generally using Post Haste, NZ Couriers and NZ Post.
1.2. For international shipments, we primarily use DHL and FedEx, depending on destination and service availability.
1.3. Shipping method and carrier may be selected at our discretion based on delivery location, parcel size, and urgency.
2. Freight Charges
2.1. Freight charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of the order.
2.2. If there are discrepancies in size, weight, or destination that affect the calculated freight, we reserve the right to adjust charges.
2.3. Retail Customers: You will be contacted before dispatch if additional charges apply. Your order will not be shipped until the revised freight amount is approved and paid.
2.4. Wholesale Customers: We may proceed with dispatch and include any freight adjustments on your final invoice.
3. Dispatch and Tracking

This Ocean Shell veneer features genuine New Zealand pāua shell enhanced with a plum-coloured tint, creating rich cerise tones slightly deeper than our pink topaz pāua. The flat sheet is approximately 0.3mm thick and finished with a high-gloss coating that brings out the vibrant colour while preserving the natural iridescence and patterning of the shell.
Acid-free peel-and-stick backing can be purchased separately for easy application to clean, flat surfaces. This veneer is ideal for inlay, jewellery, marquetry, decorative accents, and surface embellishment. It is made from genuine pāua shell with a colour-enhanced purple agate tint and gloss finish.
